Aims and Scope

The journal of Geography and Territorial Spatial Arrangement (GTSA) is an open-access peer-reviewed quarterly journal in Persian (with English abstracts and bibliographies) devoted to the fields of urban planning, rural planning, regional planning, and environmental planning, published by the University of Sistan and Baluchistan and scientifically sponsored by the Association of Geography and Planning of Border Areas of Iran.  

    The journal of Geography and Territorial Spatial Arrangement (GTSA) aims to provide a channel for the publication and distribution of scientific research findings of colleagues, faculty members of universities, international and foreign students, and other scholars in the field of geographic sciences, territorial planning, urban economics, urban sociology, regional development geopolitics, political sciences, geology, climatology, geomorphology, hydrology, and other spatial-location sciences.

    The journal of Geography and Territorial Spatial Arrangement (GTSA) provides a ground to deal with quantitative and qualitative issues in this field. This interdisciplinary journal has been at the forefront of urban and rural scholarship in Iran. It publishes high-quality, innovative, and original empirical, methodological, and theoretical research in the following fields:
